4. Ordering, Questionnaire Submission, and Client Responsibilities
4. Project Photographs and Confidentiality
4.1. Placing an Order
To place an order, select a decorating package on our website and complete the payment process at checkout. After successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation and a separate email containing a link to your design questionnaire.
4.2. Questionnaire Deadline
You have 10 calendar days from the date of your purchase to complete and submit your design questionnaire.
If we have not received your completed questionnaire within those 10 calendar days, we will send you an email reminder granting you an additional 10 calendar days to submit it. The reminder will specify the final submission deadline.
If your completed questionnaire is not received by that final deadline, your order will be considered expired and closed, and the service will not be provided. Payments for expired orders are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
It is your responsibility to submit the questionnaire within the specified timeframe and to ensure that you can access the email address provided at checkout. Please check your spam or junk folder if you cannot find our messages.
If a technical issue prevents you from accessing or submitting the questionnaire, contact us before the applicable deadline so we can review the issue.
4.3. Questionnaire Review and Project Acceptance
After you submit your questionnaire, we will review the information provided, normally within 1–2 business days.
If essential information is missing, unclear, or requires clarification, we may contact you and request additional details. You are responsible for providing the requested information so that we can assess whether the project is ready to proceed.
Submitting the questionnaire does not, by itself, mean that your project has been accepted or that the delivery timeframe has started.
Once we have reviewed the information and determined that it is sufficient to proceed, we will send you a separate confirmation email stating that your project has been accepted and is ready to begin.
The project delivery timeframe starts from the date of this acceptance confirmation, as described in Section 6.
4.4. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that the photographs, measurements, plans, budget information, preferences, and other details you submit are accurate and sufficiently complete.
Our recommendations are based on the information you provide. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect the suitability of the proposed arrangement and product selections.
Delays in providing requested information or clarification may affect the project schedule.
Photographs, videos, measurements, floor plans, and other project materials are used to prepare your decorating recommendations and manage your order.
We do not publish identifiable project photographs or use your project materials in marketing materials, advertisements, or portfolio examples without your permission, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Project materials may be accessed by authorized personnel and service providers who need them to deliver or support our services.
Please note that information transmitted over the internet or stored electronically cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure. We take reasonable measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
5. Pricing and Payment
5. Data Retention
All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the relevant package page, currently USD unless otherwise stated.
Full payment is required at checkout before work begins, unless another payment arrangement is expressly agreed in writing.
Payments are processed through the payment provider presented at checkout. Your payment may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms and privacy policy.
Your order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and an order confirmation has been issued. Confirmation of payment does not mean that your project has been accepted to begin; project acceptance is handled separately under Section 4.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including completing projects, providing customer support, maintaining transaction and accounting records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, whether a project was completed, and applicable legal requirements.
Project photographs, questionnaires, and working files are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the project and related legitimate business purposes, subject to any legal retention requirements.
When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we will take appropriate steps to delete it or otherwise handle it in accordance with applicable law.
6. Project Timeline and Deliverables
6. Cookies and Analytics
The estimated delivery timeframe stated on the relevant package page or in your order confirmation begins when we have reviewed your questionnaire and sent you an email confirming that your project is accepted and ready to begin.
The timeframe does not begin on the date of payment or merely upon receipt of the questionnaire.
Delivery times are estimates unless a specific deadline has been expressly agreed in writing.
Deliverables are provided digitally through email, a shared link, or another agreed electronic method.
If a delay is reasonably expected, we will communicate the updated timeframe to you.
Our website uses Google Analytics, managed through Google Tag Manager, to understand website traffic, measure visitor interactions, and improve website performance.
Google Analytics and related technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers to collect information about how visitors interact with our website. The information collected may include pages visited, referral sources, browser and device information, and information about website interactions.
We use cookies and similar technologies only as permitted by applicable law. Where consent is required, non-essential analytics cookies and related tracking technologies will not be activated before the visitor provides the required consent.
You may manage your cookie preferences through the cookie settings available on our website, where provided. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
We may update this section if we change our analytics tools, cookie practices, or other tracking technologies.

8. International Data Transfers
Any revisions included in your package will be described on the relevant package page or in your order confirmation. Requests that fall outside the included revision allowance, change the original project scope, or require substantial additional work may be quoted separately.
Please review the package description before purchasing to understand what is included.
LaMUSE Maison serves customers in different markets, and our website or service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will take steps required by applicable law to provide appropriate protection for that information.

9. Children's Privacy
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms and is available on our website. The policy explains the conditions for cancellations and refunds, including orders that expire because the required questionnaire was not submitted within the deadline described in Section 4. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
